Christian Schulte Eistrup is Managing Director and Head of Distribution at Optimum Asset Management (Luxembourg) S.A.. He is a member of the firm’s steering and investment committees. Mr. Schulte Eistrup has over 20 years of experience in real estate and finance, including 14 years focused on real estate private capital markets.

Mr. Schulte Eistrup was previously Head of EMEA for BlackRock Alternatives Specialists – Real Estate. In that capacity, he led the distribution across EMEA of BlackRock’s global real estate products and investment solutions. Before its acquisition by BlackRock in 2013, Mr. Schulte Eistrup was Managing Director, Capital Markets and headed European distribution for MGPA, the Macquarie-backed real estate private equity firm. Prior to joining MGPA, Mr. Schulte Eistrup was a Managing Director and Board Member of Corestate Capital AG, where he was responsible for product development, global capital raising and investor relations and was a member of the investment committee. Previously, he held various execution and business development roles at Morgan Stanley, lastly as European Head of Investment Strategy and Research at Morgan Stanley Real Estate.

Mr. Schulte Eistrup is a former member of the Fund Manager Advisory Council of INREV, the European Association for Investors in Non-listed Real Estate Vehicles. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Georgetown University City Alliance. Mr. Schulte Eistrup earned a BSFS from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Eoin Bastible joined UBS Asset Management’s Global Real Estate (GRE) business in September 2014 as Head of Business Development – EMEA ex Switzerland. He is responsible for growing the client and product franchise and for ensuring that real estate capabilities are marketed in the region in collaboration with UBS-AM’s network and for strengthening GRE’s sales platform within UBS in EMEA.

Eoin is a member of GRE’s European Management Committee.

Eoin joined from Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking (2010–2014) where he was head of the private equity fundraising group, advising large clients of the bank on raising institutional investor capital for third party funds and club deals. He moved into real estate in 2005 with Avestus Capital Partners, where he was responsible for leading their institutional capital raising and business development efforts within Europe. Prior to that, Eoin worked with KBC Bank from 2003 developing their Project Finance business and started his career with KPMG Dublin in 1998 in their Assurance and Transaction Services practices.

Eoin is both a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) with the Irish Taxation Institute.

He worked over 6 years out of London and Mexico City before moving to Hamburg in 2011. Zoltan Szelyes, CFA, CAIA is Head of Global Real Estate Strategy at Credit Suisse Real Estate Investment Management, a leading European RE investment manager with AuM of over 44 bn USD. He and his team are covering the analysis of the commercial real estate markets and investments in more than 70 cities globally.

Zoltan has rejoined Credit Suisse in February 2014 after being member of the executive management of the Stabilisation Fund at the Swiss National Bank, where he co-headed the “Asset Workout Management”. This “bad bank” was created in October 2008 in the rescue operation of UBS, the largest Swiss bank. The structure, which had more than 38 bn USD of initial assets, was successfully wound down in September 2013 with a profit of 3.9 bn CHF for the Swiss National Bank.

Prior to his career at the SNB (between 2004 and 2007), Zoltan has built up the global real estate research framework from scratch for Credit Suisse Private Banking.

Zoltan Szelyes holds a MsC in Economics and Business from the University of Berne (Switzerland) and is a CFA and CAIA chartholder. He is author of several Credit Suisse research papers and features often in articles in newspapers and journals.

Mr. Beran joined Berlin Hyp from LaSalle Investment Management, a worldwide acting investment management house. Martin Wright is head of European Real Estate at Mayer Brown International LLP, overseeing London, Paris, Brussels, Dusseldorf and Frankfurt. In 2014, he was named as one of The Lawyer’s Hot 100.

He advises domestic and overseas clients on all aspects of property investment and development, particularly on international investment and large scale urban regeneration projects including redevelopments at Canary Wharf, Paddington Basin, Stratford and The Silvertown London.

Martin has built a solid base of Asian outbound investment projects including the acquisition and financing of a number of buildings in the city of London for high-profile Asian investors and developers.

• Negotiated the original regeneration agreement for the developer (Stratford City Developments) on the site upon which Westfield Stratford City is and the 2012 London Olympics were.

• Advised The Silvertown Partnership, a consortium between developer Chelsfield Properties, Macquarie Bank and regeneration company First Base, to undertake a £1.5 billion redevelopment of Silvertown Quays in the docklands.

• Advised Gaw Capital on the acquisition and financing of a 480,000 sq ft office development for £500 million, the largest single asset investment deal in the West End for more than two years.

• Advised PingAn on the acquisition and financing of both The Lloyds Building and, separately, Tower Place London EC3.
